This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which bookings may be cancelled and refunds may be processed.

1. General Guidelines

1.1. All bookings made through our platform are processed as per the rules of the Corbett Tiger Reserve Authority and other applicable government regulations.

1.2. The cancellation and refund policy may vary depending on the type of service booked — safari permits, forest lodges, or private resorts.

1.3. Any cancellation must be requested in writing via email to our official support team along with the booking reference number.

2. Safari Permit Cancellations

2.1. No Refund Policy – Once a safari permit is booked and confirmed, it is non-refundable under the official forest department rules.

2.2. This applies to Jeep Safaris, Canter Safaris, and any core zone bookings in zones such as Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Garjiya, and Durga Devi.

2.3. Date changes, zone changes, or name changes are also not permitted after booking confirmation.

3. Forest Rest House Cancellations

3.1. Bookings for Forest Rest Houses (FRH) inside Jim Corbett National Park — including Dhikala, Bijrani, Sultan, and other lodges — are governed by forest department regulations.

3.2. Once confirmed, these bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3.3. Guests who fail to check in on the reserved date will be considered a “no-show,” and no refund will be provided.

4. Resort & Hotel Bookings

4.1. Private resort and hotel bookings made through our website follow their individual cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

4.2. General guidelines for most partner resorts:

• 7 days or more before check-in: Eligible for a partial refund (after deducting service charges).
• Less than 7 days before check-in: No refund.

4.3. Peak season and holiday bookings may have stricter cancellation rules.

5. Cancellations Due to External Factors

5.1. JimCorbettSafari.com is not responsible for cancellations due to:

• Adverse weather conditions
• Natural calamities (floods, landslides, earthquakes, etc.)
• Political disturbances, strikes, or road closures
• Forest department orders or restrictions

5.2. In such cases, we will assist guests in rescheduling their booking wherever possible, but no monetary refunds will be issued for safari permits or forest rest house bookings as per government rules.

6. Refund Process

6.1. Where refunds are applicable (resort bookings only), the amount will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method.

6.2. All refunds will be issued after deducting applicable service charges, bank transaction fees, and GST, if applicable.

6.3. We do not process cash refunds; all refunds are made via online transfer.

7. No-Show Policy

7.1. If a guest fails to appear for the booked service without prior notice, it will be treated as a “no-show,” and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.

8. Amendment Policy

8.1. Changes in travel dates, names, or ID details for safari permits or forest rest house bookings are not allowed once confirmed.

8.2. Resort bookings may allow amendments subject to availability and partner policy.

9. Acceptance of Policy

By booking through JimCorbettSafari.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above Cancellation & Refund Policy. We encourage all guests to confirm their travel dates before making any booking to avoid inconvenience.
